perhaps we could have a special page for WOTM's where we can get some details on each site etc then the winner gets a little pic on the homepage with a mini-interview... it is a big thing if you win and we should make the effort since it is only once a month

Very good ideas and exactly along the lines of what I was thinking!

Good ideas - as a wordsy kind of fellow I'd like to hear the 'story' behind the design - why certain things were done, what the design hopes to achieve, what was an absolute pig to do, what the designer's most proud of...
If people are brave then that kind of stuff could be submitted along with the site - after all, unless you know what it's specifically trying to achieve how can you judge it's success! Might make it a broader kind of competition than the normal WOTM competitions?
It's like art. Everyone says a picture paints a thousand words, but it always takes about a million words to flog modern art otherwise it's just an unmade bed or a pile of bricks, not a stunning piece of social commentary!

We record every ip address of every post + registration, and if you do that then it'll be up to the members to decide on your punishment
